Why sign a PDF locally?

Signing a PDF is often necessary to validate a contract, authorization, or form. Online signing services send your document to their servers. Document Flare lets you add a visual signature locally, without upload.

Important: the signature offered by Document Flare is a visual signature, not a qualified electronic signature. It does not have the legal value of a certified signature.

How to sign a PDF with Document Flare

1. Open the PDF editor.
2. Select your PDF.
3. Open the Signature panel.
4. Draw your signature freehand, import an image, or type your name.
5. Place the signature on the page, move and resize it.
6. Download the signed PDF.
