Why use Bates numbering?
Bates numbering is a sequential numbering system used in the legal field to identify each page of a file. Each page receives a unique number (for example DOC-0001, DOC-0002) that allows precisely referencing a page during a procedure.

Open the Bates panel.
Configure the prefix (e.g. DOC-), the starting number, and the number of digits.
